Ofloxacin works by inhibiting the bacterial DNA gyrase enzyme, thereby preventing DNA replication and bacterial cell division.

Racecadotrilis an antisecretory medication used in the treatment of acute diarrhea. Racecadotril works by inhibiting the enzyme enkephalinase, which increases the levels of endogenous opioids in the gut. This leads to a reduction in intestinal fluid secretion and an improvement in stool consistency.
